So today Apple, as you know, had their little convention. They released some new things including:
-iTunes 8, Genius playlists, NBC is back
-iPod Touch, new shell and nike+
-iPod Nano, looks just like leaked pics
-iPod Classic, just a brief update.
-In Ear Headphones, I think it said like $80
-iPhone 2.1 software, "NO CRASHES" says Jobs
-iPod Shuffle, new colors
not that i have seen, i wasnt expecting it. im expecting them with the release of snow leopard, still, i have a 16gb touch and i might get myself a nano

i like the nano, but the genius playlists are basically just free marketing, its like the ministore all over again as far as i can see.
also i hope the only way to view music isnt album art, then for people who dont have it who rip their cds 
to their computer wont have it
The new nano's are very cool looking. Complete with a coverflow look too.
Loving all the colour range (the purple one is just stunning, not the first time I've said that ), looks like I'll be make a small purchase when I'm in the US in a few weeks.
The way you can shuffle songs just by shaking it, is brilliant....who would have thought of that.
I do have to say $80 for a set of headphones....hmmmm I don't think so, I'll stick with my skullcandy's.

Not to be a party-pooper, but I've seen shake-n-shuffle feature in couple Sony Ericsson walkman phones. 
As for headphones, I agree $80 is bit steep. But then again, I never liked those in-ear headphones anyway.

I would have to agree. The skinny iPods weren't (and still aren't) my thing. They should have improved on the fat ones. But hey, I'll be getting a Touch for myself and get my mom the nano. Everyone's happy 
the fat nanos were just not as easily portable as the thin ones, thats the point of it, its easy to take your music on the go and its much easier to fit the thin and tall one in your pocket. not to mention the accelerometer makes watching movies great. i was really looking for partial touch screen though, oh well.
