How do I keep the Safari theme without changing the dll file once Chrome updates to another version or build?
just keep a copy of the Safari Theme default.dll somewhere safe. After updating to the latest GC version, just replace the 'new' default.dll with the Safari one (actually, the new version just retained the default.dll of the previous one...).
Chrome could be the my FF replacement... ill see...
Everyday I came to know about new bugs on chrome. So honestly speaking I am waiting for the right time when Chrome will be released. Rite now I am quite happy with Firefox.
Nothings going to beat Firefox for a while.
In terms of what? Speed? Resource usage? Security? Customizibility?
Neither Firefox 3 or the Shiretoko alpha beat Safari 4DP or Chrome when it comes to speed. Chrome is the fastest browser I have used, whether it be booting the application or surfing the web. Safari 4 is about equal in terms of surfing, but takes longer to boot.
Firefox is an absolute ***** when it comes to resource consumption, as well as Safari. Both use at least over 120,00k of RAM at any given time, whereas Chrome has never gone over 30,000k. Opera also mauls Safari and Firefox in this area.
Security? Well, Chrome and Safari are severely flawed here. There are several weak points that could easily be taken advantage of. So, yeah, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera are definitely the most secure.
Not everybody likes a lot of customization options. I for one prefer a browser that is as minimal as possible, and Chrome is the only thing I have found that, by default, fits nearly all of my preferences. As far as the ability to customize goes, however, Firefox wins this hands-down.
I would say I would have to agree I do love the simplicity of Chrome and I am still stuck between Opera for security and feature and Chrome with its speed

I am still using Chrome on my windows machine and Safari on my macbook pro
Make the UI more customisable, and give me some of my favorite extensions, and chrome can have me :3
Another product from Google premises. I am sure in coming days this one will be also hit. But I am reading too much about this I mean more negatives and bugs than positive feedback.

I was in the middle of changing my theme to the Safari theme from default ,of course
Then when I did the override of the default DLLs with Safari DLLs-it looked like it would work
But when I started the Chrome to load it gave me a crash dialog while in the midst of loading.
What should I do uninstall and reinstall ? or is there a fix I can use since I am not happy about uninstalling and reinstalling it

I have not used it so far. Let it settle down and after that I will give a try to it. Rite now for me Firefox is really working find and I am satisfy with this.
I also came to know that there are some privacy issue is also there with this.
I heard that google was providing assitance to Mozila to build firefox and now I think firefox will be tough competitor for chrome. Because Firefox is the first choice of all webmaster and even now people tried chrome and now switched back to firefox.
