I'm having some issues understanding how to install a language pack (i think).
I'm using a font (this one to be exact) and i don't know exactly how to use it. For example, if i type A, it comes out as a Japanese character.
Since i don't know exactly how to read Japanese, i don't know how to write the words i want to write. So, i figured, maybe if i installed some kind of Japanese typing thingy it could help?

Well, I'm in the process of learning, so I find that having my enviroment in japanese helps me.

Well, some fonts have english letters along with Japanese characters. I use those fonts as a system font. However, some fonts have no english letters, so whatever you type comes out as a japanese character.
I'm just doing it in MS Office for now.

Obviously, that's not the case. (Or, um... "casem".)
Try using Font Creator if you have it (or charmap), and take a look at the way the characters are set up.

Anyway, have you tried going to 'insert symbol', to see if the font is just like... set up wrong?

Zephi's right. Just open up High Logic Font Creator or some other font editting program and see which character corresponds to which letter. Charmap would be a good idea, but it's a basic font viewing tool at best.

It's not that the font is set up wrong. All the fonts from GrayGraphics are like that. It's the way the font is used. I'm trying to install support for East Asia Lang Packs and a IME or something like that, but nothing seems to cooperate.
Ah, alright. Good luck with that, and tell us how it turns out.
