Is leftsider.exe running in task manager?
Yep. Its definitely leftsider which is showing titlebar buttons at left. Just end task of it using Task Manager. You can also close it from its system tray icon.
Hey I just fixed it by reformating my computer. I just gave up on it. Btw, I'm posting from my High School!

Good lord, people, it's a startup process, system restore deals with the, well, SYSTEM.
You fixed a problem that could have been done by deleting a shortcut by reformatting the whole OS.
