Removing the top navigation all together!?

Love the skin bought it, but I would like to remove the top section well all the Icons and make the top section thicker so I can put an AD and a real log in there.

Is this possible and how would I go about it without ruining the rest of the look!?

Its possible, but you'd have no navigation (aside from the footer links). And you'd have to edit some of the images to get the shadows to line up correctly.

BTW, You can already easily add banners (just edit the banner templates), and they should show up correctly in the skin.
