nick, i was at a forum somewhere(can't remember where, probably the trillian one) and sounds like microsoft is just changing their connection standard/protocol, which doesn't mean they're preventing 3rd parties... it just means 3rd parties have to change with microsoft. Doesn't sound like a big deal, and it sounded like trillian is already prepared.

i could be wrong though, so don't take my word on it.
