I hear that on a dream or there is really? Cuz a friend of mine will love me if he can play some windows games on his mac.

even if windows was ported to mac all the windows programs and gam,es you love will also have to ported as well.. as there compiled for x86 and need to be recompiled for ppc

hey jumpers, what you heard about was a piece of software from connectix called Virtual PC. it's basically an emulator for OS X that allows mac users to run winodws software on a mac. it emulates and windows OS from 95 to XP so long as you have the disc. never tried it, but if you wanna know more, just check out www.connectix.com
I'd bet it'd be too slow running XP to do any serious gaming with the newest titles. 
yo ucant anywasy cause virtual ppc emulates an S3 2meg video card.. which us.. wouldnt work well with video games.. and yes since its emulating its slow

yes, man, i already tried that software..but bolero is right, it emulates a S3 video card and i cant run my games.

I have and use Virtual PC 6.
It works fine as long as you have a G4 processor.
It will run windows on a G3 processor, but only emulates a Pentium 200 Mhz CPU.
On the G4, it emulates a PII or PIII, depending on the speed of your G4.
As for the Video card... yes it's an S3, but you can allocate video memory.
You are not limited to 2MB. If you have a 16 MB video card, you can allocate up to 80% of that to the virtual PC or 100% if you run in full screen.
No, it's not as fast or clean as a real PC, but good enough to run Combat Flight Simulator at decent refresh rates and color depth.
