MacOSX Finder's Column View for PC's!

For those of you who (like me) they like MacOSX Finder's Column View too much

and wished Windows had the same, well it does!

There is a FREE file manager that has exactly the same MacOSX Finder's Column View

and it's called UltraExplorer

http://mustangpeak.net/

Just install it and from the View Menu click Column View.

If you click Dual Pane ListViews you can have 2 Column Views

opened at the same time!

They only down side is that UE does not replace Windows Explorer globally

(i.e. if you change the options of UE then clicking on my computer should open UE)

So if anyone knows any other file manager that does the same

please inform.

FF.

is there somehing that replaces the explorer globaly ?

#506134

Yes, but you'll have decide first, if you just want to use another file manager or replace the entire shell, as the explorer.exe also draws the entire GUI of Windows' desktop.

If you'd like to try the 2nd, just google for "Windows Shell replacement".
