iLeo

Without further ado I announce my new Mac OS X theme for use with Tiger & Unsanity's Shapeshifter; iLeo.

The name is derived from its theme inspirations and feel- illuminous, Lunar, Leopard, Loco, Uno, Universe (Leo is a star-sign). Furthermore my theme is also inspired by famous themes such as Milk, Eternal, Canum, Qure, Dragon among others.

It showcases black illuminous feature elements, semi-transparent white menus, Leopard style metal unified windows, metalic buttons and subtle Loco style windows... Its a carefully perfected balance.

Only thing that's still bugging me is the square buttons...not my thing. Otherwise, it's a great looking addition.

Will I be able to extract extras2.rsrc with themepark?

iLeo was originally designed for Leopard.

However, not knowing the limitations of the new operating system, I released the concept on Tiger.

Now, a few days rest and then Im updating to Leopard (deep breaths) and will port accross iLeo.

I believe there are a few advantages of Leopard theming over Tiger, so expect to see some additional variations.

Some things will work better in Leopard such as-

- transparent menubars (menu extras screw up in tiger hence the black)

- more consistant buttons

- better active/inactive window states accross all windows (not just some)

iLeo is essentially Loco, but with some key differences- the white windows were just too much to swallow... so thats the first thing I updated. Then the white buttons looked out of place so I updated them to illuminous black style ones (I believe thats the way Leopard should have been). Then I was going to keep the menubar transparent but thought better of it for integration sakes... As a result Loco is purely a concept piece, iLeo is the most balanced all rounded theme because i made sacrifices due to theming limitations.

Then after testing with appletv esque I decided to make a pink menu (graphite version) to match in with the wallpaper.

SO there you have it. Im babbling.

Hope the few Tiger/shapeshifter users enjoy this almost flawless theme (if the perfectionist may say so)
