Vista Folders

is it possible to lock the folder icons in explorer? So when the medium sized view is selected, the folder doesn't change to show its contents?

nevermind, figured it out.

while in explorer: alt>tools>folder options>view>always show icons, never thumbnails

nope, there's still a problem.

by disabling the folder previews, all other files also lose the preview.

does anyone know if it is possible to eliminate previews on the folders only? anyone?
