Hi everyone. I'm using RK Launcher,is brilliant. But whenever it starts up on boot, wether from registry or startup folder, keeps giving me error creating hooks message.I can start it from the executable,no prob, just not auto. Am stuck - please help....Thanx
error creating hooks
Try this (may or may not solve the problem):
Add a shortcut to it in startup folder and double-check that "Start in:" textbox (or whatever is it called, I have a spanish Windows
, it is the second textbox from top to bottom) check that it has RK Launcher's folder.
If that doesn't work, search for some suspicious .dll file in RK's folder (such as hooks.dll, mouse.dll, etc...) and copy it into C:WindowsSystem32.
If that doesn't work, I have no idea.
Maybe RK Launcher has an option in it's menus that works... at least Rocket Dock has such option (I didn't toy enough with RK Launcher, and don't use it but many people like it).
