The only way I found is by tweaking the registry:
add a new string in "HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopWindowMetrics" named "MinWidth" with the value -300.
thats the minimum possible, a small portion of the first letter still remains visible, but that's ok

No need to hack registry, Tclock2 can do this. Under the Taskbar tab.
the reg key don't work (i thinks works only in win2000, but i wish for XP, for me is the best and less expensive way)
Tclock2 works but..... every time i close a task a empty space remains in taskbar (at end of the day i have several empty spaces)
anyone knows a registry entry or another method to o that?? i appreciate
ThanKS
