Partly done song

this song is only partly done and i will finnish it either tomorrow or friday...

tell what you think.. apart from that 'the drums are out of sync' and/or 'there is no bass'

I'm tired and have a really nasty headache, so no bashing on the 'out of sync-ness' please.

Well... the guitar... it's pretty much out of tempo... the times are just all over the place. Some really good ideas musically, but those palm-mutes need more work.

But mostly it's all about time. Rhythm guitar is 90% keeping the time. Your values should be exact. Eighths are eighths and quarters are quarters. You should refrain from any kind of slack or loose in your timing. Slack should be in the sound. Loose should be on your fingers. Time must be tight and exact. Like the british.

Anyway, just my opinion. No bashing intended.

i gotta disagree with peskat here. i thought your playing was very precise. playing against the drums, instead of with them, gives the song an interesting, surprising feel. nice job!
