Seriously, Is there any tool(s) for Leopard to Disable startup Processes and Services??? (Something like MSCONFIG of XP) or (something like XP Manager)??? This is very much upsetting me (those nasty processes in Activity monitor!!! :mad:

I hate when people do that, honestly.
It's not a do or die situation.
Try finding out what those processes and services are first of all.
Do or Die? well imagine when we install "friend like" softwares who tries to call "home" and you cannot stop that! As I launch apps, the most irritating question pops up "There is an update available" and then Azureus, another nice software actually even upgrades itself SO, we don't even know what information they send back home without our knowledge?!? imagine when pests are hogging the memory and processor unnecessarily. And there is no way to kill them? Or a guide on how to terminate them from starting?
CPU usage idle never goes to 99! its always something going on in the background! I figured to disable Spotlight and some others through google, but taking this much time to kill apps really sucks. If there were some "Msconfig" type apps, it would be GREAT!
I already configured Firewall and killed Bonjour and spotlight but I don't like messing with SUDOs. Also, I managed to disable every automatic update check through "Preferences" but some apps are toooooo friendly and do not obey. I just don't like them starting automatically (updates or execution initially or upgrading)
Simple solution... uninstall it or accept that the app phones home.
I guess this makes OSX more like "spyware" platform. I guess the next version of Win should blow it's arse. If you look at the history, W95 "core", W98 "shell improvements", WME "Bloatware". Again the hard work W2K "core", XP "shell improvements", Wvi "Bloatware".
So, the next version is expected to be "Core" again

Seriously... if you're so paranoid about "app" calling "home"... then maybe you shouldn't connect to internet.
Most apps call home anyways, at least shareware, because that's how they know when the trial edition has ended.
However, i'm guessing you've never heard of an app called "Little Snitch" ?
if you don't want apps to start up, pref>accounts>login items,
if you don't want apps to self update app>pref>uncheck check update
if you don't want apps to connect to the internet config your firewall to "set access for specify services..."
& unless your looking at kiddy porn, who cares if OS X takes ten seconds out of your day to update software for your security.
