Rocket Dock icon spacing?

Is there a way to increase the icon space in Rocket Dock?

You could make a 512x512 image and paste your icon in, leaving space to the sides?

Maybe a transparent image? Or maybe you could make the graphic smaller (not the whole size), but only the graphic, so in the dock it shows smaller, thus more space.

Good ideas. I tend to use the apps default icon instead of .png files in my dock, just lazy i guess
