Need customization help

Hello for the past few months ive been trying to get that MAC look.i started with flyakite os that hooked me up with tiger then i saw leopard and tryed to look my computer just the same like the mac leopard osx but still i dont have that 'MAC' look what ive been looking for.

this is my current results: (not happy with it)

so can u point out my mistakes and what do i need to fix? i really like leopard osx unfortunately i dont have enough money to afford a mac computer so i am stuck on XP. the least i can do for myself to look customize my xp to look like a mac

Wrong. The least you can do for yourself is search around, look for other similar threads (trust me, there are lots). Also see the downloads section at osx-e (my sig).

I do not mean to be rude, just that these questions have been asked and answered before. A little searching won't harm,

PS: My first suggestion would be to go for Objectbar...Again, search for more info on that.

Now i'm confused i downloaded objectbar and i cant find a proper leopard. i dont know what avedask does and i dont know how to use it.

Did you check the osx-e site in my sig? DO IT.

Did you search this forum for "avedesk" or "avedesk guide" or "avedesk tutorial"? DO IT.

Did you read the guide mps69 linked to? DO IT.

After you do all the above, if you STILL are at a loss, THEN ASK.

For objectbars, look on deviantart, every objectbar theme on there is a mac clone (Which is annoying for me, I hate the finderbar thingy)

Now im ****ing pissed on objectbar it wont let me load the theme. useless

WHY THIS NEED TO BE SO HARD? I read the guide my head almost exploded why there aint a leopard transfrom install package just like that Flyakite you don't need to do nothing and you achive 100 % leopard look...ahhhh

Because that would be very hard, each system is different.

It won't let you load the theme because you have to pay for it. Yeah, if you want perfect emulation, you have to buy things.

These forums and www.osx-e.com are the two sites that will give you the information you need.

HOWEVER, I haven't been able to find a perfect leopard msstyle fot xp, I'm using one I made myself by mixing two.

Like you, I can't get objectbar to work properly for me, Ive given it up. To be able to use extra themes I think you need to pay for it.

For your dock I'd recommend Rocketdock, there are lloads of skins to match leopard.

Avedesk is fairly easy to use and is the best way to have big icons as well as widgets on the desktop, and it isn't a memory hog like yahoo widget engine for example. All you do is unpack the archive you have downloaded in a directory and then run the executable file.

Personally I'm satisfying myself with approximative emulation and I'm saving to buy a macbook

i guess i give up this is too hard oh.........

Jesus, do i have to step in? Seriously, you need to stop being such a brat and expect just a big PerfectEmulation.zip to appear on your desktop. SEARCH. The reason why your firefox won't minimize to RKLauncher is because ███ ████ ██ █████ ███████, but it can be fixed by ██████████████ RKlauncher ███████ █████ 0.7. Firefox 3 is still in ████, and as much as I know, ██ ████ ██ ███████. Sounds can be installed by going to ███████ █████ and then going to ██████. There, you can choose a sound scheme. Your toolbar buttons are all messed up because you █████ █████ the option "█████████" and remove everything else from your ███████.

Or, alternatively, you can search the forums for keywords "Firefox" and "RKLauncher", search google for "Installing sound schemes in Windows" and while you're at it, google "How do i customized computer?"

Seriously, your answers will never be handed to you unless you're very lucky or you catch me in a good mood. Just to motivate you, i blacked out all the answers .

Download the latest nighly version from the RKL section, this will solve this and a few other problems you might encounter with RKL.

I appreciate your new to all this but it all about trial and error sometimes, that's half the fun, it's not hard, if I can do it anyone can.

Most stuff your coming up against the guys here have had problems with too so most of the answers are out there, you just have to dig around a little bit.
