OMG, I am so glad I just brought one of the 1st gen iPhones off Ebay. Yes I know Ebay, but I was desperate for the 1st gen phone, cus I hate the 100% plastic look of the new one and the 3G is just an option I don't need.
Well, according to the description its already jailbroken and unlocked, so anybody suggest some good Apps for it?
Bought*. All your Apps should be in Installer, depending on what repositories they put in there. All the good stuff: SummerBoard for Themes, Kate for other customizations, Customize, VNsea, MIM (Make It Mine), Screenshot, MxTube, MobileScrobble, TuneWiki, TextEdit.
I personally think you should have waited to get the iPhone 3G. It looks exactly the same (except for the black/white back.) And IT HAS 3G. In that matter, you shouldn't care about looks, but rather what you'll be getting in the long run.
How much did u pay for it? I hope it wasn't more than $199 US.
cors I payed more for it and personally I'm not too bothered that I did. Imho I don't have the need for 3g cus I'm not going for the contract and with the new 3g you now need to activate in store so I wouldn't be able to put it onto my vodafone sim in the uk. I don't like the new plastic look anyway. I'm actually writing this post from it now.
i too disliked the curved plastic look... but like most apple things, it grew on me...

that's an awesome list thanks. Do those chat clients work with MSN cus that's what most people use over here in the UK.

I checked, Chat does as well. At least, it has an option to set up an MSN account (I don't have one to test out). I know MSN likes to change their login every now and then.
