Aqua-Soft ForumsI created an image a few months ago (before a reformat) that I opened, used, exported and edited weekly, but I'm now getting a embedded profile mismatch error thats ruining the image (adobe photoshop cs3 .psd) completely.
Before when I exported the image as a .jpg or .png it matched on all screens, all OS..etc.
Now when I just open the .psd I'm getting an error reading
The document has an embedded color profile that does not match the current cRGB working space.
Emebedded: Color LCD
Working: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
What would you like to do?
[]Use the embedded profile (instead of working space)
[]Convert document's colors to the working space
[]Discard the embedded profile (don't color manage)
The first two options appear how they should on my screen (macbook) but not on other screens (two separate PC's), they have a grayish hue (if it matters),
When I ditch the color profile completely, my mac plus the other computers all have the same ugly gray hue, loss of color, effect.
I don't know much when it comes to profiles, but I need to save this image!, heres a sample from the old profile of the .psd (what it should be), but I can't get the same profile or whatever that I had before.. I've tried setting the psd after it loads to the same embedded profile "Color LCD" but, still, its not helping on the other computers.
Does anyone know why this is happening, or can shed some light as to why?
(oh, and the original image was made on the exact same copy of photoshop using the default preset profiles, the only thing that changed was the reformat and reinstall of adobe, which further adds to my confusion)
