Drives do not open when double clicked

Hey guys,

I have a problem that i cannot open my disk drives thru double clicking them. the only way i can access them is when i open the folder tree tab and exploring the drives.

This is what i get when i double click on the drives.

Please help i need to do stuff and this really gets in the way!
