I kind of like the way it looks by default. What do you want to change it to?

lol, i dont think so.

It's unstable and confusing enough as it is, why make it worse?

It's confusing, yeh... but so far been very stable for me. Offcourse, I'm not heavy user of Office apps, but it's been good to me so far. As for confusing.... the confusion lasted for initial 3-4 uses, but once you look past "oh-why-the-f**k-they-put-it-like-this", then lot of things start making sense.

I think if someone is using Office apps for first time, then they would find new interface more convenient to use. Aesthetically though, I think it's overdone. It feels like a girl who trying hard to be hip, and does everything "extra" just to end up being gaudy. :P

As for skinning, I think he want it to be more like Office 2008 (mac version). If that's possible then I would like that too. :)

@iGo: right

I like the new design and UI, but I'm definitely in the minority.

I also like it a lot and I don't think it is overdone.

I was speaking aesthetically, not usability wise.... just to make that clear. :)

Office 2007 has its own skinning, there really isn't too much you can do with it aside from the titlebars and frames.

I've been looking for a way to just skin the titlebar (to make it fit in in the Mac-look)..

But yeah, I do like the new UI and don't think it's overdone either.
