More than likely the extra space is just plain transperant area, but yea, technically the dimensions should be a 1:1 ratio.

Have to agree, the resolution is irregular.

Usually, people make icons range from 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, and 512x512

It must be squared, ratio 1:1 (e.g: 123x123) to make it display correctly in a dock.

I realize that, but I had a hard time making both the height and the width to be the same. But it turn out to work just fine.

Most of my previous icons have the same ratio.

reminds me of one of the assist trophies on Super Smash bros. Brawl
