Since I got a new PC with Vista, I've noticed iTunes doing some strange things. First is when I'm in coverflow view and switch from playlists. The coverflow switches and show my iTunes library for a few seconds and then switches to normal. Here is a screenshot to show what I mean:

Also when I have iTunes minimized and then bring it up, this happens:

Just checkin' back to see if anyone else had any suggestions. Still doin' the same thing.
Less Vista more iTunes for Windows; which is still very buggy in Vista. No fix I know of unfortunately.

I've had that problem as well. I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit. Guess I'll just wait n see if it ever changes with a new version. It didn't do this at first, which is weird.
Strange thing is I just noticed that this doesn't happen with I run in just Basic mode instead of Aero.

Seems like since I first posted about this, iTunes has gotten more and more sluggish for me. Just reinstalled it yesterday for the frist time in over a month.

rofl, much as I love aero and the DWM, it does cause a lot of problems in programs coded sillily. Like iTunes.
(Use something else, munchkins, like winamp or foobar)
Have'd you scan it for virus? I had a similar problem (my iTunes paused my music and shuffle to other) And I found an adware, which I think that was cause of the problem. If that don't work, try to install some updates.
I would absolutely LOVE to use Foobar but I can never get anything of skins or whatever to work right.
