SnapShooter on Leopard

Hi

I recently switched over to being a Mac User. I recently bought a 15.4" 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro

I have been using RumShot for a long time when I used a PC and I heard that it was based off the application SnapShooter. So I tried downloading and running SnapShooter on Leopard but It somehow was not able to run. Double clicked on the SnapShooter.app file but nothing happened. On the page where I downloaded SnapShooter, it says that it is compatible with OS X 10.3 and later. Is this version not compatible with Leopard on the Intel platform? Is there another version or a similar app that does work?

Thank you in advance.

Snapshooter hasn't worked on Tiger for ages too. It inverts some of the colours... there was a work around... but I've forgot it.

Since SnapShooter was made so long time ago, could it be due to the fact that the version available is not Universal?

In any case, is there another app that does the same thing as SnapShooter but works on Leopard?

I was able to get SnapShooter to work on Leopard (albeit with the odd random error) by making it run in rosetta. I did this by heading over to "Applications" folder, locating SnapShooter, right click it and choose "Get Info" and then check the option "Open using Rosetta".

Hope this helps!!!

It works! Though the startup time is a bit long but it does seem to work. Thanks for your help!
