I have Vista Ultimate ... But No Movie Maker??

Hi,

I recently installed Vista Ultimate, I have everything except windows movie maker, and for some reason when i go to windows update it never asks me if i want to download it, I can download Windows Movie Maker 2.6 but i'm after the one that normally comes with vista, where can i get it ? as microsoft doesn't seem to have a any download links on there site.

I don't remember vista installations ever including programs except sidebar and stuff.

You normally only have software on systems you bought with Vista on them. Installations of Vista you put on yourself, or machines purchased directly from the manufacturer, tend not to come with any software.

However, if you give me your email address, I'll mail you the copy of Windows Movie Maker that came with Home Premium .

You could try using your Vista Ultimate disc and install Movie Maker HD using Add/Remove or Programs and Features. It should be installed by default, as it did mine with the retail disc, unless it's a non-legit version with features removed for sake of saving disc space.

mine came by default as its supposed to. Are you SURE its not there? If it really isnt than just try what the above post says
