Lucida Grande and Objectbar = Dont agree!

Hi there all, I've recently created an OB theme, and the default font is OBfont. I want this to change, and so I've downloaded Lucida Grande, after being told it's the best mac-esque font out there, and have set to the default font. BUT IT WILL NOT APPLY! All that happens is it goes AWOL and ends up using an Arial-like font, which is ugly and brutish.

This also happens with Objectdock. Very annoying!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

change the font in the Skin.ini file for ur OB theme or the .obskin file open with notepad n replace OBFONT with lucidagrande.

I've done that, but when I do, Lucidagrande doesn't apply, and comes up with a weird font.

Sorry, I need to make my messages clearer.

You're not Spelling the font properly. Just because the Font is named LucidaGrande.ttf doesn't mean that's the typeface name. For all you know, the typeface name could be LucidaG or something. So, go to your FONTS folder and open your font in question. See what it says near Typeface: and copy that into the font paramerer in the .ini or .obskin file.

Nope, quote: "Typeface name: Lucida Grande" I typed that in, and didnt work.

I've had to settle with Lucida G.

Very annoying.

how did you install Lucida Grande font?

should not download/extract/copy/move DIRECTLY to windowsFonts folder, but installed using Control Panel- Install Fonts...
