Y'z Dock

Thought you all might be interested.

Y'z dock seems to be far from vanishing, in fact it's on various websites and newsgroups for download, and most recently it has found it's way onto a PC magazine's coverdisk CD.

I think this little program is now far more widespread than it ever was while in the relatively small skinning community. Apple may as well be pissing against the wind on this issue. Trying to stifle it has only spread it to the four winds and now it's so visible out there that anyone and everyone can get it. (Y)

It's nice to see Apple's heavy handedness come back to slap itself in the face now and again. >.<

yes but there`s little hope that it will ever be updated and upgraded :(

Doesn't really need updating though :)

Only thing I can think of is being able to drag seperators...

#49911

but you can do that...

ctrl+drag to drag separator. make sure "locked add\more\delete item" is unchecked.

yep.. it's far from going. look at deviartart.com - it's still there! (Y)

Heh, that's why I left out the name of the magazine in question, I don't want to make it too easy a target for anyone's ire :lol::P

Hi!

Except the separator there is one thing more should be possible...

If I start a prog from the Dock and put the window in the background, and click another time on the progs icon, the dock should not start another copy of the prog.

I would like to see the dock to bringing the window back to the foreground.

Maybe there is a way????

Greetings

Hey folks I'm back, some may remember me under an old name (Quantum Cathexis) and many won't...

Anywho, I come back after the sad news that Y'z is gone and I lost my backup file of it, but after a while of searching, I found it somewhere...

In case it is frowned upon to post a link to it, I won't...

It is available at a Denmark site much like Download.com, with the word free and shortened version of the word internet in it's name. Put all that together and you'll find it there. Hope that helps out any souls scouring the internet to continue the legacy of Mr. Y.

Anywho, looks like this place has progressed nicely, good to be back
