I don't think so. Frankly, the ave RSS readers that are availible are all about as useful as a chocolate fireplace, minus the delicious taste.
If you don't mind visuals, the very best I've found is the one that comes with google desktop sidebar, though the new-fangled konfabulator (Yahoo widgets) ones ain't half bad, either.
Not as pretty, though.
As far as I'm concerned NewsStand is the best for Yahoo Widgets.
