Hi all...
Read through the forum and found stuff about making OE look like Mac Email... but I need to use an email system that can support LMOS (Leave Mail On Server). OE can be set not to delete mail... but then it downloads every email off the server rather than checking if its already downloaded 
Does anyone know of an email app that supports LMOS that can be (or already is) skinned... lol... brushed would be nice

Netscape can leave your messages on the server and so does Thunderbird, and I think Mozilla can too.
I know Netscape does, cause I use it at home, and I know Thunderbird does, cause I use it on my laptop.
Oh and Netscape can be skinned Thunderbird has already a ton of themes made for it.

dont like opera?!?! opera has a very powerful mail app built in, and i think has LMOS capabilities and can be modded to look like safari (pretty sweet actually) + its a great internet browser!

Seph.. using opera... havent found a great way to make it look like safari... best skin i have found is Sofa King, which aint that great.
Will take a look at the email capabilities tho... but still longing for an email app with the perfect brushed interface... like the iDownload skin for K-Lite ++ or something

Nice brushed kinda texture there... maybe a tiny bit *too* smooth.... but very nice For a look more OSX-like... start working on the buttons etc

Having trouble finding the instructions you talked about for the safa skin... any pointers to finding them? (/me feels stupid... I write about computers for a living and can't even find a bloody instructions file!)

Nah, lots of great Mac skins can be found on Opera's site, like iMacOS Lars (aqua and brushed), Jaguar and so on...

Sofa King is fairly average as far as it goes... but you look at the texturing compared with a lot of the other skins/winstyles around and it just dont match up.
Still... the question of an individual email program hasnt been answered... would be a worthwhile project.. I for one would download it
