Aqua-Soft ForumsI am curious of the VUMeter docklet works under Vista? I have tried it on ObjectDock Plus and RK Launcher but it will not work for me. When I click Start/Stop it does nothing and when I click Recorder Volume it does nothing as well.

As the author of said docklet I'm sorry to inform you that its source code is buried in a crashed hard drive. It was coded on and for windows XP; I have no idea if it works under Vista or not. If it shows up at all and you can see the selected themes, it should work.
The display of the volume control was the only thing coded in a non-standard fashion.
Just launch your volume controls manually for recording the downmix of everything.
If you can record what e.g. iTunes is playing, vuMeter should work right away.

I have this docklet working fine on vista ultimate and vista ultimate sp1.
You must enable hidden recording device (Stereo Mix).
Right click on volume icon in notification area, select recording devices. Window will apear with all devices. Right click on empty space, then select show diabled devices, then enable stereo mix, goto propertites off it and turn up the volume.
Start OD then add docklet. Works for me everey time. I have onboard sound card realtek.
