Aqua-Soft ForumsI looked around the forum to see a solution was found for this, but I didn't find any.
When I minimize a conversation window (of messenger) it simply disappears and doesn't minimize to the dock.
Any help with this?

Well, it sometimes happens to me on OD.
If you don't use MSN+, you could go over to miranda-im, it's a very fast and resource-light client, and supports things like MSN, AIM, and stuff. Plus it's skinnable (Thankfully, it's ugly to begin with <_<)
I've been thinking of switching to Miranda, but installing skins on it is something I can't seem to grasp. And not having Messenger Plus is a drawback too.
Get the 'modern contact list' addon.
NOt having MSN+ is the only drawback, once you've spent a few days customising
