Still doing test renders... ver6 has decided to pack up, luckily ver 5.5 is free but will freeze if interupted.
Though it was an ape issue but I've added both versions to the master exclude list... any ideas would be most welcome.
FYI it's just two chrome spheres on a chrome ground plane with a custom sky... just thought it was an interesting image.

Well... been plonking around most of the day to see if I could track down the probs... Disabling APE has meant that ver 5.5 works as it should... still no luck with ver 6 although both apps were on the ape master exclude list.
In contact with DAZ but I don't hold out much hope... ver 6 has been buggy since I first got it.
