Earthquakes!

In St. Louis!

And I am too desensitized to feel them!

It's been over a decade since I moved from Southern Cali. I've always like the rumblings of the earth (Landers earthquake while camping still vivid in my memory). I miss them so. And apparently we had an earthquake felt in the St. Louis area (opposite side of Illinois, but not that far, really). Some over passes closed because of cracked and fallen concrete... and I slept through it. Supposedly we had an aftershock just minutes ago. My friend just TXT'd me about it, which he lives 3 minutes driving away. Not a thing. I am so depressed.

living in l.a., i always liked earthquakes. until, that is, the big one of '94. my placed got red tagged cuz it came off the foundation. i thought i was gonna die. now, i'm freaked out when when they start. 'how big will this one get?'

We felt it here in Indianapolis...weird. I hope the New Madrid Fault isn't going to blow like in Dec. 1811 and Jan. 1812.

This is also the 102nd anniversary of the S.F. quake. Happy B-Day Mother Nature!

Here in Ohio, I woke up somewhere around 4-5 am and herd a weak thunder.

What do you miss? We haven't had an earthquake in years here in LA lol , which is not necessarily a good thing with all these '99.7% of 7.0 magnitude in next 30 years' stuff

Yeah, I slept through it, too. Actually, seems a lot of people at SLU slept through it. Griesedieck (residence hall) got a little exciting from what I heard, though.

I missed the aftershock, too. I was on bus, so the vibration felt like it was part of the motor.
