On the other hand it looked like i could have done the same thing faster on my pc.

I just can't believe these gui mod companies, groups haven't been bought out and absorbed.. i guess ms knows they can cruise on everyone else's work in this field.

i wish they would make their stuff cheaper, but jesus christ.....macs are sooo nice. i wish i had enough money for an iBook. i might even sell my pc (never thought i would EVER say that 1 year ago, i didnt know any better) i think i am going at least wait until panther comes out, then ill decide. ahhh well, i just made $750.43 from detasseling (pulling the pollen dispensers off of corn, which is EXTREMELY HARD WORK) where you have to get up at 4:00 in the morning and get home (on a good day) at around 3:00 pm after working all day and getting cut and sweating in the 103 degree heat....i already bought an iPod, next step is iBook.
hehe, juno i know what your talking about, i was a treeplanter in BC/AB for 8years. Work damn hard for your money and its hard to part with large wads of it for electronics(dif. between a nice mac and a middling pc = 1 month of paddling and pure fun in latin america - makes it seem like a retarded choice).
only problem is you tend to make large chunks of money in short period, so its hard not to blow! Foresight=0. Maybe your hands 'll get so worked over you wont be able to touch a comp for awhile
