Please note that all of the games and software on the Giveaway of the Day Website are legal. The companies have agreed to give their product away for free.

Giveaway of the Day Introduction

Hello and thank you for being interested in getting games and software for free. Giveaway of the Day is a project that hosts its own website and posts games and/or software for free everyday. When I mean by "free", I mean that the product has all the features in it with no limitations. If you are wondering what kind of games and software are being given out for free, here are a few:

1. Data Recovery Wizard Professional - Priced at $89.95 - Software

3. The Rise of Atlantis - Priced at $19.95 - Game

4. SAGA - Priced at $29.95 - Game

5. CyberPower Audio Editing Lab - Priced at $39.95 - Software

6. Plato Video to iPod Converter - Priced at $24.95 - Software

7. Special Event Racing - Priced at $15.00 - Game

8. StarBurn - Priced at $495.00 - Software

9. Desktop Icon Toy - Priced at $19.95 - Software

10. Podcast Studio - Priced at $39.95 - Software

There have been thousands of games and software that were given out for free. Unfortunatly, these products listed here are not available for free anymore. If you have noticed, the software "Starburn" has been highlighted in blue. You know why? Look at the price. It costs $495. It was given out for free but now its not. Who knows, you might just find Microsoft Office or Norton 360 or some other popular software for free someday. You never know. So keep an eye out on the Giveaway of the Day Website!

How does Giveaway of the Day Website work?

Giveaway of the Day only gives 1 game or software for free everyday. On rare occassions, theres more than just 1. They are usually the first thing you see on the Giveaway of the Day homepage. A description about the game or software being given out is shown. There is a "100%" sign which means its free from viruses and spyware. There is also a button that says "Proceed to download page". The download page tells you detailed information about the product, user reviews and download links. Finally, there is a "Active Giveaway time left" counter which represents how much time you have to download it and install it before the giveaway expires.

The list you see below the homepage are the games or software that were given out for free for the past few days. You cannot download these for free because they are not being given out anymore. They might be offered for free again but some other day.

I like the Giveaway that is currently being offered. What do I do?

It might get a little confusing here but most people will understand. You will only have 24 hours do download it, install it, and activate it. Once you have installed it and activated it, then its yours to keep with all of the features in it with no limitations forever. IT HAS TO BE INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED ON THE SAME DAY WHEN YOU DOWNLOADED IT. If you don't, then the installer and activation will fail. When 24 hours are up, you cannot reinstall or reactivate the game or software.

Terms and Conditions Limitations

These are the limitations for any game or software downloaded from Giveaway of the Day:

1. No free technical support

2. No free upgrades to future versions

One thing I don't get is, that "you have to install it the same day you downloaded it. If you don't then the software or game is useless".

So if you like the software you downloaded, and your PC crashes, then it won't work and you have to buy it?

UPDATE 1:

My thread has been updated today on 4/11/08. I guess it was a bit confusing for some people. Some of the posts are a bit off because of the changes I made. I made my thread as clear as possible so people can understand. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
