Well well well...
Can anyone tell me what should I put in that script to get weather for example from Berlin (Germany) or Wroclaw (Poland)? Is there any list of valid locations? How many times should I restart this thing to make it work? Even if I put "Berlin, Germany" into .vbs and I test the script, it keeps showin' N/A. God, it's frustrating!

make sure you put in your country too in the .vbs... i've got mine set on Ottawa, Canada and it works. I've also got the two instances of www.weather.com in the .vbs changed to w3.weather.com as i had heard that might fix people's problems. I had problems at the start, but i don't know if that in particular fixed it.
Also, if you have any automatic virus protection like norton antivirus, make sure it isn't blocking the script. Turn it off or to manual... and you might have to reboot, i can't remember, then start the script and authorize the script in the warning that comes up. You can turn on your av after this and all will be fine protection wise.
If that doesn't work i can't help ya. Oh yeah, you might want to check other scripts at the samurize site cause i've heard this one isn't that accurate for some contries. (its seems ok for canada, a bit off from local but wadda ya expect)
Nope, sill doesn't work. 
I have Antivirenkit 12, it doesn't block it. I set up everything as you said. Maybe you could mail me your .vbs and .ini? Maybe I messed something else with configuration, who knows

i can do that sure, but i'd be suprised if it helped - cause all i did was the above... you should try doing the above changes to fresh .ini + script (redownload if necessary if you didn't backup before altering).
Oh and one other thing, check to see if your internet explorer is set to update everytime it visits a site (internet options, general tab, settings in xp). I shouldn't matter if its not your default browser. I read this in a discussion on the y'z weather docklet, so it could apply to the samurize script.
just pm me if you want my stuff, but i really don't think it'll help you(you'd also have to discard extra junk i've put in for my own setup and realign all the graphics if you wanted the original skin).
i guess there's always hope though, and these weather scripts seem so tempermental. :puke:
Judge released the new v0.4 yesterday. Go to samurize.com to download it. He fixed all the problems and added new bmp images.
wow!, i thought he'd given up on S. gotta thank him for still udating when he's doing dx2. I guess he uses the same site for both.

There's something new to be explained.
Look here:
It says the conditions are 'Fair', but the image shows sun with a cloud. What's up?
On weather.com it shows plain sun - why do I have the cloud? I linked the image to tmpimagemain.png or something like that (just like in Judges script). It switches day/night correctly, but not the weather conditions. What can I do about it?
try reloading your config. that usually fixes it up.
No it doesn't fix it up.
The thing is that the config on sreenshot is made by me, I put Desktopweather there and I'm afraid that I didn't insert some Function - maybe decodeImage or copyImage? I don't know how to configure them properly :cry:

i have the same sort of thing when using samurize and the weather docklet(i'm trying to set it up so clicking the weather docklet makes samurize come up with the extended forcast)...
both are great work.. see attached picture... but there is this strange discrepancy

This might be somewhat off topic, but when are they going to fix the font aliasing issue with Samurize. Can it really be that hard to fix?
Everytime my weather script is showing me a temperature with a curved number in particular it just looks crappy because of the jagged edges. Maybe i'm beating a dead topic. *shrug*
I've noticed that the getDewPoint function does not return the correct value.
Instead, it returns the humidity value and other HTML.
i have the cloud over sun problem when it says fair too
and on the other version of this that has been floating around (black one with white text) i cant figure out how to make the city name read "Lincoln, Nebraska" instead of "Leganes"

It is a static text message.
edit the config and you will see the text, click to select and change to what you wish.

Come on, man....some people just love'em and can't stop adding millions of them to their posts. Blame the author who created them and the admin that gave the possibility of using them, not people. IMO emoticons are lovely and it's very hard for me not to post millions of them every time I write something.

Any answer to this yet?
It appears that Judge's Weather script, loads up the Icon from the "hourly" webpage, and uses that as it's main large icon (tmpImageMain.png).
Yz Dock uses the "daily" page's icon.
The Daily one is more accurate, it was 19:00 sun outside, Yz Showed sun icon, whereas the script took the 21:00 (next hour) nighttime icon.
How can we fix this?
