How to open/close iTunes with AveTunes?

Let me just first say that AveTunes is absolutely awesome and I don't know how I've lived without it. =O

Secondly, is there a way to open/close/bring up iTunes with AveTunes, similarly to the functionality in WMPuICE?

I don't know about closing, but iTunes can be opened by clicking the play button on the desklet.
