Help with apple menu bar

ok so i download the apple menu bar 2 help make my comp look like a mac but i cant get into the start menu and get into that list of programs that xp has......does anybody kno how 2 do that with the mac toolbar... i want 2 make some shortcuts for some apps but i cant figure out how 2 get into the list of them lol?????
