What song is this?...

Its a song without many notable lyrics (or ones I can remember). It was an early 90's song... perhaps 93, 94... or maybe even an 80's song.

Its a dance (trance? electro? other?) tune, I wouldnt say its got a heavy beat, it has more of a dream like quality

It goes something like this in the chorus;

"daaaaaa da-da -daa-daaa.... daaa da-daa..."

"daaaaaa ev-er-aft-er (?) daaa da-daa..." (it might say "everafter" with each sylable drawn out)

^Those probably arent the words, just the tune... Its a (warm sounding) male voice, with each note drawn out... yet the song is fairly upbeat... i know, it all contradicts... the beats arent strong, but they're fast, the singing is over the top and does not fit into the beat... its more drawn out.

Once again, I emphasise the dreamlike quality. It has a very spacey or even futuristic feel... maybe similar too...

Evermore's "It's too late" (the chorus at least)...

Robert Miles "Children"

It'd also fall into a similar genre as;

Bloc Party's "Flux"

Babylon Zoo's "Spaceman" (the chorus)

Moby's "Lift me up" chorus.

^ but nowhere near as intense as these ones...

I know, its a pretty dodge description... but this song is killing me!

As I think of more ways of describing it I'll put them up.

Any Ideas???

lol interesting site... didnt work too well tho, mainly came up with rap songs (which this song definately isnt). The problem lies in the fact that I was tapping out the singing, not the beat because in this song the singing is more dominant than the beat...

have any other ideas? anyone?

I almost pissed myself laughing while reading those.. daa.daa..daa lines.

But worry not, I'll see if I can get something like that.

On the other hand, could you sing that daa.daa.daaaada stuff and record yourself.. and attach the damn mp3 here? Maybe someone will catch the tune.

ok... thanx for the suggestions... it was from that era iGo. But was a male not female voice... and the beat was way faster... but its not a strong beat. But still a racey song.

The notes are very drawn out.

I think i will humm and upload (*later) ... lol u will hear Levi lullaby (i have the worst singing voice)...

I saw it again on a show called "The Great Outdoors" an Australian travel show, but after intense googling found nothing.
