How do you remove the Title bar text in windows explorer??
Title Bar Text
I've been struggling with this also.
Using Mrrste's coversutra and have tried skinstudio, an invisible font and styler...all to no avail.
Ive seen many tutorials on how to do it with IE (Internet Explorer) but im not sure if it connects with Windows Explorer. One thing is, that i know its possible because i saw a tutorial about a year ago and i didnt pay much attention.
ya can make ya titlebar font 1pt and make the color as close to the titlebar color as possible but ya can still faintly see the text shadow, and i couldnt find how to remove it
i just need a way to remove it, probably through the registry that will work. Thanks for option i though about it too and it just doesnt work that little bit sticking out will drive me crazy
I heard it was posssible with Reshack.
So I looked it up and this is what I found...
"Open Reshacker, load up Browselc.dll, then go to String Table #769. You'll see it about halfway down the table there in the middle, and will look like this --> "Exploring" <-- Simply rename that in between the " " marks, or delete the entire string if you want NO text on the titlebar."
I can't guarantee anything for I have not tried it myself, but the operation, it seems, was successful. Good Luck to you ! ![]()
thanks
