can't vote on this one, since I have only used OD, but without any problems, and it does everything I need it to, so I never felt the need to take a look at RK.
I find RK superior to both. But if i had to choose, it would go with rocketdock
RKlauncher!
why is RKLauncher soo much better, ive heard people say its the best, but i tried it and it annoyed me
but i might have another shot at it, if i knew what the advantages were ![]()
Hmmm......using a Mac, so yeah. The original Mac dock.
LoL, back on topic.....I would go with RKLauncher as well, after I made the switch back on windows from object dock, I've never looked back.
still no one has told me why RKLauncher is soooo good...
I'm still using Y'z Dock... tried RK once, didn't stick with it because I didn't see any particular advantages over Y'z. My needs are sufficed with Y'z, so I'll stick with it. ![]()
I'd say Rocketdock ![]()

lol your avatar winks your kool (Y)
yehh guessing by what ive read rocketdock is the best without knowing how to use rk
Y'z Dock for me aswell. Maybe because I'm not interested in fancy effects, but I just need a launcher with the right set of feature. Shift-click is essential for me, together with fast folder menues (middle click). And auto-hide delay, that RK doesn't offer.
And overall, Y'z is lighter :|
objectdock plus.
has every feature I could want in a dock, plus tabs.
only downside is you can't drag files into the dock folders ![]()
The Rocketdock is cool
I've yet to try Rocketdock, but I've been a RKL user for a very long time. I did make the switch to OD+ just recently to test it out and the only thing I did like (something that RKL didn't offer) was tabs and allow me to use bigger indicators. The latter is more of an aesthetic thing lol.

Bingo.
Objectdock with side tabs for the win. Plus, Objectdock is made by a brand company, Stardock.
OD+ here as well, although to be honest I haven't tried any of the others. But the tabs are a life saver, would be lost without them (or have a gigantic dock spanning the entire width of this 24" monitor and then some).
i have used every dock and they all have their strengths. in fact, i switch between them all regularily depending on what look/functionality i'm trying to achieve.... try them all out and use what you like best ![]()
i am into RK launcher.. best for me and used to it. ![]()

That is not a definitive criteria establishing the superiority of one app over the other. Many of the best apps I've used were coded by signle developers mainly as a hobby with no brand/tag/company attached. In this community's context, Avedesk and WinExpose are two such prominent apps that come to the mind.
And, OD has been a resource hog every single time I've installed it.
In RKlauncher minimized windowns go left of the dustbin, not right like in RD.
And you have an exclusion list for applications not to be minimized to the dock.
If you do not minimize to the dock, I´d go for Rocketdock.
