I wanted to know that if i wanted to buy a laptop (eg. macbook pro), other than bestbuy, can i get a better deal anywhere else. I am in Houston, TX.

The real deal is that I am a Student at the American University of KUWAIT, But my friend is a student in Houston, TX. and since he is visiting me this summer and i wanted an MBP from a long time, so i thought why not get it online and get it shipped to him and he will bring it here. Thats the reason i was asking for reasonable rates.

newegg.com looks to be cheaper than many other places for similar macbooks.

for example, model #MA896LL (picked at random) is about $140 cheaper at newegg than amazon (and you get free 3 day shipping on many if not all of them)
