Weird Icon Problem

I'm just customizing the hardrive icons, when i replace them in reshack everything looks okay, but when i check the icon in my computer, the icon displays for like a millisecond then reverts to the crappy default xp ones, what am i doing wrong?

whatever dll you are replacing, you have to also replace it in dllcache.
