Hi, since today I am not able to drag anyhing out of the dock, drag anything onto the dock or drag old apps outta my apps stack (grid view).
I haven't installed anything which should make this happen. Does anyone have any ideas?
thanks

Are you the administrator of your computer?
Maybe your Dock's frozen? Open Terminal and type
killall Dock
and press return to restart it and see if that solves it.
Yeah I am the administrator of my computer, I tried the "killall Dock" command and still no joy. . .
=[
Is the dock locked anyways? Did you recently install a new theme on your dock?
Maybe repair disk permissions. If no avail, I did some research for you and found an Apple Support thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?t...26527&tstart=90
weird...
Are you trying to drag running apps out of your dock? Because they just won't leave until you quit the app. I know it seems obvious, but I'm just checking.

Thanks, that apple thread really helped and fixed my problem, although I didn't realize it would ruin Spaces too but hey atleast my docks working again!
Thanks everyone for all your help!
Seems that dock kiosk mode has been enabled. Next time try a system setting changer and see the dock locking part
You won't loose your settings !
