(CD Art Display) Covers don't show up when listen to shared iTunes library

I have faced a problem when covers do not show up when I listen to the shared itunes library.

CAD shows song and artist name only when I play in itunes the tracks that are on my computer. But it doesn't show nothing just a black skin (without name and cover) when I play shared library.

Maybe its because shared library is stored on external HDD which I connected to my notebook ?

So the line looks like this:

My PC ---LAN cabel---> Notebook---USB--->External HDD box (where music is stored).

From what i understand you're playing songs from a shared library i.e. someone's else's library?

Or... what. i don't really understand

I have never been able to see the artwork over the shared network libraries, have you contacted the CD art display support over at closetosoftware.com?

Yes. I play shared itunes library on my desktop from my notebook. As I said the line looks like this

My PC (itunes) ---> Notebook (itunes) ----> USB cable----> External HDD

Yes, I have asked there the same question. No luck yet.

Do you have your iTunes library strictly organized? Such as making sure all the tracks have a cover and such? If so then you might want to jump on over to cdartdisplay.com and ask the creators or moderators about the problem. They usually sort out the problems quickly. :)

Yes. I have organized everything well. If I play them directly on the notebook - the covers show up. The ptoblem happens when I play them on desktop through notebook's shared itunes library.

I have already said that I have asked there the same question but haven't received a solution yet. :(
