External crash

I was playing around w/ my 250g external hdd (Time Machine) in disk utility making a new partition & half way through the macbook accidently shut down. (The disk utility log shows no errors).

Now its not showing up in finder, disk utility, windows norton partition magic 8.5, windows disk management & a bunch of windows freeware disk repair/partitioners, but, xp makes that sound when i plugin/pull out the usb cable...

The disk is running & I can hear the needle.

Also a weird thing; When its plugged into a windows machine, xp wont shut down or start up until i turn off the external, & leopard takes a long ass time to shut down when the external is running

What do I do?

{edit}

I opened up console & turned on the external hdd & I'm getting the following errors:

Well you more than likely damaged it, no doubt about that. Maybe try taking it do a disk recovery expert?

I agree with BapeStar, you should take it to a recovery expert.
