So we're just about ready for ChainedToMyDesk to be officially out to the public (when we get google on us), but there is still some quirks we need to worked out. The skin, courtesy of Aqua-Soft

, is getting a little makeover in the upcoming weeks.

I'd hate to describe how we'll be tearing Tim's skin apart, but we'll be stripping the traffic lights, and replacing all the blue you see with a scarlet red. We also, of course, need a logo.

But anyway, take a peek, bookmark it, post a bit.

This time around, unlike Penguin, we're trying to keep Super Moderator position closed, thus 'inviting' people for the opportunity, instead of having people to apply for the role. But, Assistant Moderator positions will still be open for applications.

Our Administrators are:

Yours truely, and Andrew (known as GoofDrop on these boards)

Our Moderator(s) are currently just Alpha2Zulu.

We also offered a few others some jobs, but they are still pending. We won't say who, just yet.

So here is what we need from the community...

We need someone who's good with Photoshop. If you are, you've got the opportunity to be an Administrator with us.
We need Assistant Moderators. Apply here if you're interested. We will have around 4 Super Moderators, and 6 or 7 assistant Moderators.

A little update: We are aware of the database errors a select few people are experiencing. They have been somewhat fixed, the rest will need to be done tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

Here's the difference; Assistant Mods cannot take disciplinary action against members. Assistant Mods can do everything else

as long as i am blue bold with a rank. Will I be able to be an actual mod sometime later on? Because I would like to discipline others breaking rules.

I know you. I knew you from penguin, so I know you'll be a good moderator. I'll talk with Andrew and see what he says, if he agrees with me then we'll take it from there

Thing is, this is different from Penguin. We are trying to be as...well official as possible, unlike Penguin, which is why it failed so miserably. That means, not picking up random people who say "I wanna be admin" and give them the status...

Which is why Andrew originally denied my proposal to make you the final mod. But since I know you, I'll see what I can do, and reason with him.

Yeah, all the staff positions are filled. Done. Don't ask anymore.

The only admins are me and Andrew.

The Mods are Alpha2Zulu, Martin (non-Aqua-Soft registrants), and Markoz.

None of the "Plz make me admin plzz" crap this time around.

Well, all four of your current members are admins or mods. That was the way msp also began. I don't think it's a good ideaa to recruit the cops before the population fills up. You should wait till you get more members, wait for the gig to take off, and then when you have active normal members, then recruit the mods. Just my opinion, that.

There is no more 'recruiting'. There never really was any of the sort to begin with.

This thread isn't about that. It's about letting people know that the site is open and that all are welcomed to register.
