Big file problem with Mozilla

i'm trying to open a file which has several mb size with mozilla but every time my computer stucks with cpu at maximum. please help

Firefox and IE both try to show the XML file.

So they try downloading it and then parse it for your viewing pleasure, but 90% of the times the xml files are there for data, not for displaying so it can hang ...

You should try an extension (downthemall) or some download manager that will allow you to directly download your file.
