Hopefully this will be the first place new members will look to assist them set up their dock.
Anyone should be able to add to this as long as they supply a question and an answer, maybe a link too.
I will asks mods to delete post just asking questions without an answer.
I'll kick things off.
How do I install the dock?
Unzip the all the folder and files to any location, double the exe file, the dock should appear at the bottom of the screen.
Why won't some of my applications (including firefox and thunderbird) not minimize to the dock?
Ensure you have installed the latest nightly build, found here.
How do I add items to the dock?
Locate the program you wish to add, then drag the file onto the dock. Right click the icon and select properties to change the icon and name.
Why can't I add items to the dock?
Ensure the dock isn't in lock mode, right click deselect Locked.
Why won't the dock start when my PC boots up?
Two solutions.
First one right click, select settings, select the behaviour tab check the start with windows check box.
Second one, create a shortcut in the start menu.
How do I install and use a new theme?
Once you have download the theme, ensure the dock isn't running, unzip all files and folders into the themes folder. Next, right click the dock, select settings, then go to backgrounds and use the drop down to choose your theme.
How do I use docklets?
Once downloaded, unzip all folder and file into the docklet folder. Right click the dock, select add docklet, follow on screen help.
Can I use multiple stacks docklets?
Yes, install a docklet as per normal. For the second docklet, rename the stack.dll (ie stacks_2.dll) file to any other name and install as per normal.
