One annoying thing of iTunes - if you have 2 computers

The situation:

I have made a library of all my music on my external HDD which is connected to my first PC. But I have a problem if I want to listen to it from my second PC. Both Pcs connected to each other through a switch.

the problem:

If I If I move first PC to hibernate mode (sleep mode) with itunes openned then when Desktop PC comes back to life from sleep mode I can't see the sharing library (from my second PC) so I have to close and open again itunes on first PC in order to have its library to be visible on my second one.

Any solution ?

is your itunes library (the actually library file i think its .xml) on the external or does each comp have its own?

No. I listen from my second PC to the shared itunes library which is on my first PC and when that first PC hibernates and comes back to life then I have to restart itunes on that first PC. in order to make it visible on my second one.

It has always frustrated me that iTunes is such a ***** when it comes to sharing a library between several computers. I guess your only solution would be to attach a drive to your router and place the library there.
