I dont know why but when the computer is left on sleep or screensaver; WMI comes up as not responding, sometimes in many numbers. Any idea what i can do to stop it?
Windowsxp Pro Error : Wmi
I had the same problem a few days ago. So I looked in the task manager to see what the cause of it was and it was two programs (I think). So I ran a search for "dwin.exe" and "wmiprvse.exe" and deleted all the files that came up with it (two things that had never run on my computer before). I got a lot of .hdmp and .mdmp files as well, whatever those are.
After I deleted those files the problem went away and I've not had any problems with anything.
I hope this helped ^^.
